Malaysian Dental Students Council (MDSC)

What is Malaysian Dental Students Council? 1st time heard about this MDSC thing? Lets continue reading to know more about this MDSC with the 4W and 1H :)

Lets begin with how the MDSC is now present and who will be its leader and participant. The idea of this MDSC is proposed by Dr Ibrahim Shahruddin, President of 2nd MDA Dental Student Congress 2011 to assemble dental student leaders from all universities in Malaysia. The proposed association to be named as Malaysian Dental Student Council (MDSC). All the representatives of the dental faculty took the opportunity of 2nd Malaysian Dental Student Congress  event to accomplish this objective. 

On the 11th June 2011, a meeting regarding the Malaysian Dental Student Council (MDSC) was held at Kolej Tun Syed Nasir UKM, Kuala Lumpur and this meeting has attended by representatives from all universities in Malaysia and lead by Dr Ibrahim Shahruddin, FYDO (First Year Dental Officer). A committee has been established with the consent of representatives. the universities that sent their representative to this meeting is truly appreciated. The vision of this MDSC is 

"An integration between universities to create ONE voice for all dental students in Malaysia to promote unity and increase profesionalisme among the dental student"

The committe of the MDSC have been choosen. Lets check it out who are they :)
