Dental Annual Grand Dinner (Enchanted Kingdom) 2014

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone, annual dental dinner has been held on 17th of May 2014 with a new theme this year 'Enchanted Kingdom' in Premiera Hotel, kuala Lumpur.

This grand annual dinner is the flagship event of the Faculty of Dentistry where collegiality and friendship between lecturers, staffs and students in an informal atmosphere. It is also an occasion where we recognize the efforts of fifth's year students after five years being in the faculty.

 our Annual Gala Night this year was a charity dinner for Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM). CLAPAM mainly consist of voluntary groups of parents and professionals which their aim is  to help children with cleft lip and palate birth defects to grow up looking better, speaking better and fitting in better. CLAPAM provide supports, advices, seminars and education.

An amount of RM 1,400 has been given to CLAPAM's representative, Mr. Zainal Azhar bin Ahmad.

There were many performances performed by UKM dental Students such as, singing, dancing and acting.

There were also awards for students, lecturers and staffs. These are the lists of the winners :

King & Queen of Enchanted Kingdom (5th year student) Someone who portrayed positive traits and stood out among the rest. They are responsible, hardworking, optimistic, proactive and have contributed to others
