BULAN JALINAN ERAT SISWA & INTERBATCH SPORTS COMPETITION 2015

11th October 2015; this day marks the day where all UKM KL Dental First Year students engage in an exciting event called Bulan Jalinan Erat Siswa (BJES), and then almost all Dental students come together to compete in the Interbatch Sports Competition (DENSPORT).

This year, BJES and DENSPORT are combined together, as it will be a much more fun event, not including the fact that more Dental students would be participating, and thus keeping the event merrier than ever! 

                                     

With the theme; 'Close the Gap, Empower Unity', we certainly hoped that this event truly did tighten the gap which exist between us, seniors and juniors. Throughout the day, we all shared many laughters, many smiles and also, many of us finally knew what his or her name was! 😆

It was certainly entertaining! 😄

For BJES, all First year students were divided into 5 groups, and each group was given a name which has something to do with Dentistry; Amalgam, Alginate, Dycal, Porcelaine, and

There were 4 activities done during BJES. All first year students must compete against each group in the games of; 1) Picking up marbles and peas by using chopsticks, 2) Throwing water balloon to by using kain pelikat, 3) Making an egg stick to all four sticky tapes, 4) Throw away water from a bottle by only using ropes and no hands.

                         Activity 2: If it falls, it falls mate! Oh but wait, it hasn't exploded yet?!?😮

           

                                                     Activity 3: Uh oh, it's not stickin'. 😏

           

              Activity 4: Good job guys! You've managed to save those water, by throwing it out?!? 😨

DENSPORT

The sports held were; futsal and volleyball for guys, and netball and volleyball for girls. 

Everyone was superbly energetic! When one hits a ball, the others would be ready to get it. When one plays the ball, the others would be attentively looking for it to receive it. When one was hit by the ball, the others would be laughing and saying sorry at the same time. 😂

It was terrific! Even i myself, finally knew, "Oh my God, that senior is so good in volleyball!". 😆

From morning, till noon. It was exhausting, but truly it was fun!

Second year students got champion for both volleyballs girls and boys. Fifth year students were champions for netball and futsal. Overall, Fifth year students are the Overall champs! CONGRATS!
